This week I’m reviewing a|MEN|ity Shave Cream as part of our review of the a|MEN|ity products that we offer. First off is the sticker shock. A 5.5 oz tube is $37, although it is a 30 day supply. This may seem a high price comparatively (Billy Jealousy Hydroplane Shave Cream is only $20) but in true a|MEN|ity fashion of combining products to form one “super products”, this shaving cream is actually a 2-in-1 pre-shave and shave cream combined. So I guess the higher price does make sense in this case since you are really getting 2 products.

For this product, I was the actual guinea pig. Since this was a 2-in-1 pre shave and shaving cream, I was expecting a really close shave with absolutely no irritation afterward. I have to admit that I was really happy afterward with the results. I had a really close shave with no nicks or cuts. My face didn’t feel tight or irritated but felt soft. a|MEN|ity also claims that there are active ingredients that combat signs of aging. I can’t really comment on that because that takes time to show. I can say that my experience with this cream was great and I highly recommend it. As all other a|MEN|ity products, this is a great product for someone who doesn’t have much time to devote to a proper morning grooming routine but wants all the benefits. This is because as with most a|MEN|ity products, this shaving cream is a 2-in-1 pre shave and shave cream combined so you do not need to buy another product and use it. You just use the shaving cream and get the benefits of a pre shave. All in all, a great product (that’s why we decided to carry it).
